Main Function
Magma Products are an international oil and gas engineering consultancy specialising in Pre-Commissioning / Commissioning / Start-up and Operations Support to the offshore industry. Due to substantial contract wins for Major Operators we require Process Services Supervisors to join our pre-commissioning process team and assume responsibilities for the continuous improvement and support the safe and efficient operation of our clients fixed platform assets in various offshore locations in the UK and overseas.
Activities
- Assist in pre-mobilisation function testing of equipment, for execution of one or more Process Pre-commissioning Service Lines e.g. Nitrogen and Helium Leak Detection, Pipe Freezing, Chemical Cleaning, High Pressure Water Jetting, Hot Oil Flushing, Hydraulic Bolt Torqueing and Tensioning, Valve Testing and Camera Inspection
- Complete any N2/He Leak test / Hydro-test work-pack requirements and compilation of data
- Carry out Flange Management Operations
- Assist in the training of Technicians
- Coordinate personnel performing rig up, operation of equipment and all processes leading to safe execution of the work
- Supporting the Project Engineer in the smooth running of the project by reporting any equipment and/or client issues in an appropriate and timely manner
- Responsible for all paperwork on site for supply to client representative and for return to Magma office
- Ensure shift hand-overs are completed safely and are documented
- Ensure all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance programs and practices are followed as per procedure
- Provide leadership onsite via a detailed technical understanding of Process services
- Responsible for the safe and productive running of the shift

Qualifications and experience
Offshore experience Experience of working in an onshore / offshore Oil and Gas market Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment Ability to read P&IDs / Isometric drawings etc for one or more discipline Desire to increase technical and management skills Strong personal leadership Flexible attitude to working hours and shift patterns in order to get the job done
