{"id":463,"date":"2019-02-04T13:16:21","date_gmt":"2019-02-04T13:16:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/magmaproducts.co.uk\/?p=463"},"modified":"2019-02-04T13:17:53","modified_gmt":"2019-02-04T13:17:53","slug":"philip-tweedy-appointed-as-new-managing-director","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/magmaproducts.co.uk\/ro\/philip-tweedy-appointed-as-new-managing-director\/","title":{"rendered":"Philip Tweedy appointed as new Managing Director."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Magma Products are delighted to announce that Mr Philip Tweedy, previously a Commissioning Manager at Magma, has now assumed the role of Managing Director.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nMr Tweedy, formerly an engineer with British Coal, moved into the oil and gas industry in 1991 and has worked in commissioning ever since.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nHe has worked on projects for a number of companies including Harland and Wolff, Halliburton Brown and Root, Amec, Nexen, BP, Qedi and Shell, before joining Magma Products in 2013. Mr Tweedy said:<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019m delighted to have been appointed to this pivotal role within the business. Magma has an industry recognised reputation for the delivery of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up projects\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>His promotion now allows the previous MD, Paul Rushton, to assume the role of Chairman, and both will continue to be based at the Aberdeen Office.
